I've heard conflicting info that it was a fan, a photographer, or a security guard. Hopefully Don heals fast!

The worst part is that it sounds like he was caught off guard and suffered some pretty rough injuries. He must have been quite shaken.

His character might be villianous but not his IRL self. Sadly this kinda of stuff was incouraged back during the 90s and not enough was done to teach people to be a better audience.
