TL;DR - testosterone supplements increase cholesterol which increases the risk of heart attack and stroke. When taking testosterone it is important to regularly get your cholesterol levels checked.

Isn't it also why male pattern balding exists? I didn't know that about cholesterol though. I have high levels of both dammit.

Yes, testosterone is converted into dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which causes the male-pattern balding by binding to receptors on hair follicles in the scalp, which initiates "miniaturization" and the shrinking of those follicles, leading eventually to the loss of hair.
