I'm an athletic trainer, so for the most part it's the student athletes that I get to talk to everyday. I get to improve their mood after a long day in class. Sometimes it's vice versa. I have a rough morning, then get to work and the kids' energy and enthusiasm to be done with school and be able to play sports generally cheers me up. It's very fulfilling. The injury management and rehab is such a secondary aspect of my job it's strange even including that in my job description, but I'm also very good at it.
