I dont think they were hostile, just matter of fact. You'd get a similar recommendation over at reddit. You have control of your feed.
Of course we have control over our feed. That is not the point I am making. The point is first impressions are not good and the reaction here is no better than Reddit which says a lot if it is the same here.
