I'm unfortunately not familiar with Matrix. Is that an app? Messenger? I usually only used the private message feature in my Lemmy app of choice, but if you could direct me I'd gladly set up an account ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

It's another protocol for secure decentralized communication. Also offers e2e encryption.

Ah, cool! Thanks! I actually saw Element as an app in my F-Droid client, but wasn't sure what it was. Looks very nice! I downloaded the app now and will set up an account tomorrow โœŒ๐Ÿป
