I suspect people in the West will also have to get over their fear of eating certain insects.
Crickets, for example, are quite tasty when cooked in lime juice and spices.
I do think insects as an ingredient in other foods, such as crackers, could be a more successful approach in increasing adoption. Taboos will be quite hard to change tho, I agree
I suppose it might boil down to if people are desperate enough.
