From the shameful number of police chase videos I have watched, I have learned that we have pretty good (well maintained) roads.
The major streets usually get attention but the smaller ones usually have delayed repairs.
An important part of good roads is continuous repairs and repaving.
I've previously posted articles about Oakland's repaving rate compared to other local cities. At the time Oakland was lagging.
I'm sorry. It was just meant as a joke.
