Yes, exactly. I just thought I'd include it in case you could learn something from it.

But just the fact that I understood what you were saying with just かな means that it's not necessarily wrong to not use 漢字. It's just more natural to use them.

God i don't even recognize 漢字 lol. I'm still writing that as かんじ.
