It didn't work. Turns out being flash cooked by steam isn't any better for you than just being burned by fire. Being covered in water actually makes a rather effective heat bridge when you spend long enough in a hot environment.
Assuming the water is running continuously wouldn't the heat be carried away before it can be transferred to the human?
