i was doing some research on some no-name earbuds i own and it turns out they are made by some moldull company,
and in their product pages
like this one
they list "Impedance ohm value: 32Ω" in the specs, but why does it matter if you aren't plugging them in your own amplifier?

Well, it matters to the manufacturer I suppose, since they have to pair it with a tiny little headphone amp that can drive them properly.

But to the end user... i think you are right. Its not like we can swap out the amp...
