I'm not sure what the big deal is. The company is responsible for ensuring you have a safe work environment. My company (Fortune 500) did this with everyone when we switched to remote during COVID and for anyone hired to WFH after.
It's part of the trade off of not having to commute twice a day. She's more than welcome to drive to a WeWork if she doesn't want to share.
Edit: just saw the racism part. Seems a little pre-emptive to play the race card, does she do this frequently?
Checking for a cluttered workspace might be because she will be going in calls with customers. But having "a look around the home" is way too much.
