United Kingdom
General community for news/discussion in the UK.
Less serious posts should go in [email protected] or [email protected]
More serious politics should go in [email protected].
Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

He's hardly a nonce
Its a multifaceted role.
A 1990s Sun reader?
Just for the record: the Sun ended Page 3 in 2015.
No "it was a different time" excuses wash yet.
Nonce has to be with someone who is 16 by legal definition, but an actual paedophile would probably target even younger children
Oh dear, I didn't realise this was the British anime forum. Thanks for showing me the type of users that come here.
What? Someone who tries to engage in consensual sexual contact with people who are legal age are nowhere near as bad as actual monsters who prey on underage, often prepubescent children. You shouldn't dilute the term "paedophile" or synonymns such as "nonce" to potentially meaning someone who can consent. Paedophiles are vile and sick monsters. Huw Edwards is weird by buying porn off of young adults but he isn't a monster.
The anime "loli" weirdos make characters that look like 7 year olds and say they are 500 years old to try and cover their arse. That's not what's happening here.
