I know that a lot of people prefer Nicotine over the original Soulseek client. While it's definitely more stable (especially on Linux) and arguably more attractive, I've always switched back to the original client because Nicotine gives me way fewer search results, and I've noticed that a lot of my "regulars" don't show up in my uploads list.

Anyone else have similar experiences? Any tips for making Nicotine work better?

I like how it has better queue handling, but it doesn't mean anything when apparently nobody can connect to me
