If I can trauma dump for a sec, my dad has told me multiple times that the effects of racism wouldn’t be as bad if black people were better fathers.

It reminded me of how my dad believes that “black fathers” are bad fathers

Well, it's a small sample size, but the two best fathers I know are both black men. You can tell him that, but I doubt it'll change his mind. Of course there are going to be a bunch of bad fathers in the inner cities, their lives are rife with struggles, and they have very few role models. That's true for any race.
