Considering how AIPAC just destroyed two members of the squad it's fair to acknowledge the reality of that statement.
I hope she does address the situation seriously. I desperately want the Gazan people to receive humanitarian aid and for the genocide to stop. But I'm also a geopolitical realist. There are limits to what can be done without making this or other situations worse.
So I expect whatever position Harris ultimately takes to both be decried as woefully inadequate and also an unconscionable betrayal of our commitments to our allies. Nothing short of a full-throated commitment to one side or the other will land outside that middle ground.
Not that protesting isn't vital. I'm glad they got the chance to shout and get their moment of press over it, and I'm glad it didn't derail her intended speech. Public awareness it's important.
