These two situations are fundamentally not comparable in the way you seem to think they are. No one at all was attacking Russia before they invaded Ukraine, whereas Israel was literally at war with Syria when they occupied the Golan Heights in 1967. Either way, at this point, Israel is wrong and Russia is wrong.

The point of this post is to point out the hypocrisy in Blinken's position, not to defend Russia.
