Thank you. I don't know much about or read many comics or manga, but I'm interested in what's out there.
Manga often turns me off because I just can't bring myself to care about schoolgirls and demon lords.

Blame!, Berserk, Akira, Chainsaw Man, Vagabond, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Dorohedoro, Tokyo Ghoul, Aposimz, Gangsta are some obvious ones that come to mind
I read and watched Akira on clay tablet back in the day. JoJo looks like a parody - do people watch it seriously? It's got to be satire, right?

JoJo is 50% parody and 50% 100% serious. It's a post-ironic masterpiece.
JoJo is basically the idea of rule of cool. It's over the top and bombastic
Hunter x hunter is also considered an all-time great, and probably my personal favorite anime. Be sure to watch the 2011 series if you decide to check it out, the original drags.
