Fucking tell me about it, I've struggled with IED for decades now and it has taken a heavy toll on my body and mentality but no treatment seems to work for more than a few weeks so I've just basically resigned myself to the fact that I will be medically angry for no reason for most of my waking time.
Can you imagine how that must feel? To just be seething inside at all the injustice in the world for most of your waking moments and be able to do absolutely nothing meaningful about it? Not able to turn it off? It's been hell and I am so tired of it.
But none of you care about my actual struggle and just come here to have fun mocking me.
I really wish I could make people experience just one day of what I deal with every day.
If you know you have a problem, why dont you try dealing with it without it affecting other people. This is the equivalent of someone having a medical condition that doesn't let them hold their bladder when swimming but the first thing they do when they get to someone's house is jumping in the pool.
Get a subscription to one of the AI services and yell at them instead of just write it in a text file and delete it when it's over. No one wants to read your rants and have their vibe ruined, regardless of what's causing it.
1stly, AI is your suggestion, really? Yeah I'm permabanning you for that alone.
2ndly, being online ALLOWS me to deal with it in a safe way. All I can do here is type words at you.
And ban you I guess.
Just want to swing back to the AI thing, you know those aren't actually conscious, right? How is feedback from an AI going to help me be less socially ostracized?
Sorry to hear about your struggles with IED. I'm just learning about it from your post.
On the Mayo Clinic site on IED, besides getting treatment, one of the other things to do is to leave or avoid situations that upset you.
It seems to me that making an online community focused on things that make you angry might not be very helpful to you. If you're open to it, maybe focus on other less upsetting topics.
Maybe consider it is a safe outlet as I cannot actually do anything more than type words at you here. I can tell you personally that this entire morning has been very therapeutic. Sincere thanks, zero sarcasm.
