I listened to a podcast ep about a girl whose diabetes was severe enough to be life-threatening. Her dog was trained to give her early warnings by scent. Her father said the dog had saved her life multiple times.
I wish I could remember where I heard that. I wanna say it might have been on You Are Not So Smart. A quick search for “dog” shows that I listened to an ep of that show called “Good Dog” from March of 2021, which aligns with when I think I heard it.
