18 thousand years later, iirc. The year 10,000 number that's given is After Guild (AG). I think the year is around 20,000 CE

Yeah, the AG numbering starts post-Butlerian Jihad, formation of the Landsraad, and discovery of Arrakis (which allowed for the creation of Navigators and then the Guild itself.
