I finally completed my collection of all six colorways of the Asvine V126 fountain pen. All of them have Asvine medium nibs, and I've been delighted with how well all of them feel in the hand and lay down ink. I'm also mighty happy with the inks that I've paired them with, although the shimmer in the Heart of Gold means that I need to spend more time on maintenance than the others.

I have the black one.

I started with an EF nib, but could get on with it. Swapped it out for a F nib and it writes OK now.

I think they look really good, but there's something about it that makes me only luke warm about the writing experience. Can't put my finger on it...

That sucks that you've not had a good time with yours. Is it something with the nib, or is it the body of the pen that you don't like?

Like I said, it's hard to put my finger on.

Must admit I do find the vac filler a bit of a faff. Having to unscrew the piston to allow ink flow is a bit irritating.

It's not a bad pen, just not my favourite.
