YSK that in a pinch a 3x21" tube will work fine to get you home in a rear 18" wheel. (lemmy.world)

It’s probably not a good idea to use it long term, but in an emergency it will certainly do. Sometimes you just have to use what you’ve got and be sure to carry the tools you need to make common repairs without relying on help.

Thanks for replying. I carry a patch kit also. But the tube I pulled out in the photo above was unpatchable. I overheated it before I noticed it was flat.
