Also, the empty containers for the V might suggest that Homelander takes V as an attempt to keep himself young, or maybe keep his superpowers?

Good catch! My eyes kinda suck (I could use some V) so I didn't even notice it. Now that you mention it, the first set he looked at were indeed empty. This is why I need episode discussions like this.
