I can't get into super metroid like I want. I go in, and I do the things, and I play the game, and then UH-OH! I've fallen down a pitt. The game is trying to teach you to wall jump.......I didn't figure it out when I was 10, and I tried again a few years ago. It didn't matter. I still don't get how to wall jump in that game. That's as far as I get in that game.

I even spent 3 hours the one time, just trying to bomb my way out. It eventually worked. I got into ball form, and bombed my way up to the top. Still can't wall jump.

Huh really? Just a directional movement and jump, though I can see it causing issues for others, I know I had similar trouble with NES Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with an infamous gap you couldn't jump across but could walk over.

I know the exact jump you're talking about. Our neighborhood was SHOOK the day we figured out you could just......not jump.
