I like that they still nail having Homelander go from pathetic in one episode, to absolutely terrifying in another. Also, what was the ending about with Hughie's dad? He clearly got a Compound V shot, but who gave it to him? Also, if his dad doesn't take well to being suped up, it'd be brutal if Hughie had to devise a plan to kill his own dad.

I think it was his mom, though I'm not sure how she spotted the V in Hughie's pocket. And yeah, I'm very curious to see what happens to his dad, how well he reacts to Compound V.

She works for Vaught. That's how she got the V. I don't think she even knows Hughie had it. They just both had the same idea.
