Just saw the thumbnail from your instance, talk about bad taste. Edit: the programming.dev post is still showing up with the old thumbnail for me on fedia.io
Nah it was actually funny. Americans are hyper-sensitive when it comes to 9/11 but not the hundreds of thousands or millions of deaths your government has caused in the subsequent "war on terror".
I don't think many people would find jokes about any mass murder in good taste.
I think you'll find most people dislike people getting murdered in general.
