As someone who owns the cheapest version of the game witch was still 60 USD I believe and was told be friends that EOD edition was not pay to win but pay for convince this is disgusting.

Edit: said friend is still defending this somehow...

Sorry for necroposting but as someone who bought it I've got to say, EOD is absolutely p2w, if only because of the gamma secure container (lvl 4 stash right from the beginning is also a pretty big deal because you can hoard so much more shit before you reach level 15). "Pay for convenience" is pure copium.
