What's so hard about login to get code if they didn't want to do the migration process when that's something even sites like humble bundle and other online stores offer without offering direct downloads of games or anything like that. Or even send a code to their email with an expiration date after closing the migration process for good. When poorer sites can do it what's Microsoft's excuse.
Its illegal. Its absolutely illegal. Also the people most likely have a MS account and just don't want to link it. And Microsoft cant make new accounts for them automatically.
Minecraft migration service has reached end of life. Redeem Minecraft code 1234-ABCD by June 30, 2024 through Microsoft.

Illegal activity detected
Thats complete BS, they logged you out and send you the last and final warning.
I pointing to your previous claims of illegal activity and making fun of how you'd probably see the sending of a code as illegal.
Bo this wouldn't be but you got reminded to change to a MS account every login and now they finally killed the risky database.
As said, it would be illegal to intercept the inputs into the login fields and it would be an pretty unreasonable amount of work as the passwords are usually hashes when they leave the pc they come from.
What? Do you know how redeeming codes work? You create an account like on steam, origin, gog, xbox, Blizzard, or UPlay and go to activate game and enter in your code.
I don't know what tangent you are going off about that method being an unreasonable amount of work. What are you even arguing about.
Have you really never redeemed a code ever in your life that you see it as illegal activity and a security risk?
Why would they do this? They would give away free copies to possible scammers (if the email is lost) they told you for 3 years to connect ot to a ms account of your choice, if you didn't thats on you. Also you got a cape for it.
(the "im owning minecraft longer than you live" cape to be specific)
