Kokomi only gets rerun when I want something else. I'd love to finally get her, but I've been eyeing that Scaramussy (I skipped him the first time to save for...Dehya...) and I wonder what are going to be the first 4.0 5* as well.

As quick dps is veeeeery good. You should have is best support (the young-old lady) well builded in ER.

How exactly does she work with him the best? I was trying to get my wife to try to use her with him, but I wasn't sure how to explain it

Some constellation would do good. Give Faruzan the Verediscent set (or Nobless) and as much Energy Recharge as possible. The skill raise only with the level so save your best crit piece x other character and crown her skill. Bennet is also very good as support and Scara + pyro do more dmg. Yu jin instead is a bit too slow in the rotation.

I have Faruzan but she's still Level 1 as I don't really have other Anemo that I regularly use (Aside from Best Boy Kazuha but he doesn't really need the support)

Scaramouche would be interesting to have as (AFAIK) he's the only on-field Anemo DPS and I wonder how that works with its Swirls.

edit: Oh yea, there's Xiao but I never really wanted him.
