I don't think that car would be street legal in may state. Side mirrors and a rearview mirror are required equipment. I suppose that is something that will eventually change if more vehicles adopt this kind of setup.

Yeah, didn't Tesla try to delete the mirrors from the initial semi truck design, but later added them back due to regulations?
