I didn't know what an oubliette was, so I looked it up.
It's a type of dungeon where the only entrance is a trap door in the ceiling of the oubliette. They are shaped like a bottle, narrow and vertical. The word comes from the French word "oublier" meaning"to forget"
So you're saying you don't just have an encyclopaedic knowledge of medieval European torture methods?
