We need more places like Third Mind Books in Ann Arbor.
Every month they have an open mic, which goes about how you'd expect an open mic to go. This month its tomorrow, Saturday, July 8th at 8pm. Check them out downtown at 118 E Washington Street (half a block from Main Street.)
They also have a movie night towards the end of the month, where they show a classic movie based on the kinds of books they sell. ~~Next~~ This month it's Hitchcock's "Strangers on a Train" on Saturday July 29, more details here: https://www.thirdmindbooks.com/
It was a pretty good crowd, about 30-40 people.
