[bug] app goes black and unresponsive after posting a comment/reply (self.lemmyconnect)

As title. Whenever I make a comment/reply. The screen will go black after I press the arrow button on the top right. I then have to kill and reopen the app. The comment/reply will have been posted successfully at least.

I am able to post replies to posts, but not replies to comments. The button simply does nothing.
