Bats are cool

Bats are the only true flying mammals. There are over 1,400 species of bats, and they can be found on nearly every part of the planet. Not only are they cute, they are also important...

Studying how bats use echolocation has helped scientists develop navigational aids for the blind. Without bats’ pollination, seed dispersal, and pest control we wouldn’t have bananas, avocados, mangoes, agave, or cacao… that’s right, bats bring us tequila and chocolate!

As long as you have intact insect screens in your window that shouldn’t be a problem, the most common ways bats get into houses are from gaps and holes in the roof/attic of a house. Although I know in some other countries insect screens aren’t standard so uhh good luck I guess!

Sometime people nails insect screens to their windows in France, but that's very uncommon. I wish we had these integrated insect green at standard window as saw from other countries on the internet.
