Hi, I noticed that no one has posted here so I thought I would break the silence with a pelemic.

Tiering intentional creative action is a fundamental activity of our species. Work in this sense is a human need. However, the form work takes is not innate. The question of work, who does what, how, and why is perhaps the oldest political struggle.

In the present time, for most people, work is an exploitative, alienating, and humiliating fact of life to be endured, escaped, or embraced.

40 years on from the rise of neoliberalism, and the gains made by the last great labor movements have been steadily eroded. Barrons richer than nations have returned. The products of labor are funneled into their offshore pockets. They buy politicians, they buy media, they buy the law.

We live in a system built to subjugate the many, to destroy the earth, to crush life, and all to keep the miserable rich in diamonds, drugs, and toys, which they are too divorced from their humanity to even enjoy.

Hatred of the rich, of their system of work, of their values and their stain is natural and good.
