fear my repetitive chorus

So I recently picked up an arch-back ebony concert ukulele from Leho. It is a sweet little instrument for the price!

What I'm wondering is what sort of strings come on it from the factory. Odds are decent that they're "Aquila new nylgut" from all I've heard, but I'd like to know for sure so I can help choose where to go when I wear these out.

I've asked on their facebook page, but no answer so far.

I'm just getting into this cute little instrument. I have a bit of a background in playing guitar, so I figured I might have an easy time playing Ukulele as well. However a few introductory lessons might be useful to really get into it.

If you know of any online resources, that you can recommend for learning, please do post them here!

I can stream from my phone too which means I can perform outside. First attempt at a stream was just 3 songs from my bedroom but I'll probably do some outdoors on my walking routes. This was my entry into a Halloween ukulele challenge. I started from Aldrine Guerrero's playalong tutorial and built it up from there!

I managed to grab this before Reddit Sessions was removed. Couldn't not. It's my favorite song of hers.

I'm doing one on 20 October at 6pm Dublin time.

If it's dry I shall play outdoors and you can see some of Southern Ireland as well as the ocean.

I've been working on improving my fingerstyle playing with some classical repertoire. This is my attempt at "Study No. 10", a classical guitar etude by Fernando Sor arranged by Jeff Peterson.

Sorry I didn't record a video to go with it. There's also an instrumental version since my voice doesn't quite capture the same passion as the original!

Got my first uke a couple of years ago, cheap soparano starter kit from Amazon. The tone is not great, I know it’s partly my technique but I’m hoping these will brighten it up a bit.

What strings are you using, and what are you using them on?

I'd feel a bit silly just posting umpteen songs of my own so I've held off, feel free to post yours!

I absolutely love this, honestly like it more than the original. It's impressive how she can get such luxurious sound out of a purely treble instrument.
