Just wanted to make a short announcement about pausing the bot's SplatNet/Daily Drop posts, for now.

In spite of the original poll results, it seems like these posts have fallen out of popularity and are causing the sub to get spammed up a tiny bit.

Based on a suggestion in one of the posts, I wanted to see if I could congregate the posts into a single one to try and reduce the spam a little bit, but I haven't really been able to find the time to work on that.

Always down to hear everyone's thoughts and input on what they'd like from the community, though, and hope everyone's having a super fresh Drizzle Season, so far!

Splatoon 3 version 5.0.1 will be released at 1am tomorrow.

By updating, if you have Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass, you'll get some Pearl and Marina banners.

There's a few bug fixes, but nothing major.

There's so much to unpack in this

• We got Dedf1sh, i.e. "Acht"
• So many new mechanics (the numbers coming off enemies look interesting... maybe some kind of score? Or damage numbers?)
• The bloody Pearl drone
• Portal mixed with Rogue-like vibes, especially in the final shot of the trailer

So much to see, I need it in my life ASAP

Community / Splatoon 3 Fediverse Championship

After I hosted a followers only poll since we only had 2 teams, I am officially announcing that the Splatoon 3 Fediverse Championships have been rescheduled to the 14th of October.

The closing date for team applications has been changed to the 9th of October (my birthday, nice lol).

I haven't yet updated the pages with the latest information (nor any of the posts I've made about it), but if you want to read on how to apply as well as finding out what teams have signed up so far, check it out!

Digital Schoolhouse has teamed up with Nintendo UK to bring Splatoon 3 tournaments to schools across the country! This'll be open to students aged from 12 to 18.

The tournaments give teenagers crucial skills such as communication, problem solving and team-building where they could take those skills into a future career.
