It's depressing posting sad news like this on Christmas Eve...

@pretendo made an unfortunate announcement today saying that new Nintendo Network accounts can't play online. It likely is related to the shutdown, however I doubt this is intentional.

News / Updates: Version 6.0.2 released

Overnight, version 6.0.2 for Splatoon 3 was released.

The main adjustments here are to make the Splattercolour Screen more accessible and to fix Big Run rewards for those who still had issues in version 6.0.1.

The theme for this one is 'Who do you spend the holidays with?'

I just want to quickly let you all know that 5 new weapons have been datamined. 4 of them are normal weapons and 1 is a Grizzco weapon.

Which of the new weapons are you using.

Last season i didn't use the new ones much. Now i have a pain brush and undercover brella. Tgevpain brushvis my current favorite and this new kit is better. Im still trying different equipment to balance specail and ink consumption.

After streaming Splatoon 1 earlier today, I had a viewer mention that there is some problems with the new Splattercolor Screen special, and I later had a Squid School video appear in my timeline (I see someone from fedi in their gameplay footage 😊) talking about some of the issues.

I imagine that there are some people out here on fedi who are affected by the Splattercolor Screen's effect. To those people who are affected (or even if you're not), what are your issues with the Splattercolor Screen?

Decided to use Miiverse for the first time in 6 years now that Pretendo has brought it back (yes I know rverse is a thing).
