So my husband and I are avid viewers of all the English language versions of the Drag Race franchise. We started watching the series with the premiere of the very first episode of the very first American season. But we often have very different feelings about the contestants.

I was kind of rooting for Hormona Lisa from the beginning of season 17 just because all the other queens seemed to hate her, so my instinct to cheer for the underdog came out. I did initially find her a bit annoying but now I find her endearing. However, she gets on my husband's nerves. So we had mixed reactions to her elimination. Thoughts?

I'm devastated. I can't believe she went first and not her rival in the lipsyc. What The Fuck

I just found out that lemmy also has a rpdr community. I thought you might want to know we also have one over at Kbin. We post post-episode threads on all franchises. It's just a few of us but we are working on keeping the community active for current and possibly new members.

Hopefully we can build a safe space where we can all share our love for this amazing show outside of the control of evil corporate giants (looking at you Reddit).

I'm only about a year into watching RPDR, I always liked drag but I wasn't a reality TV watcher. I've watched a few seasons now, and just fallen in love every time. Every finale it becomes so clear to me that this show is so important to gay people being loved and accepted, and it's really wonderful to see so many gay people succeed at such a wonderful art form. I love them all so much, and when they all come out on the finale I get so weepy. It's just so beautiful. I'm watching the finale of season 11 today and crying over every one of those beautiful queens.

I hope you understand why I needed to share but nobody else understands me crying over this lol.
