This is a safe space to be open, honest, and vulnerable about your deepest darkest secrets and personal problems, and to receive empathy, compassion and support. We'll try to help as much as we can, and other people will need your shoulder to cry on, too.

This should go without saying, but any homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, racism/sexism/any kind of -ism is not allowed. “It’s just a joke” is not an excuse. Any sort of needling to try to convince the mods or anyone else to accept such behavior, or enabling or defending such, is not acceptable either. Breaking this rule will result in a ban on first sight.

This is a support sub about your personal issues. That means in your posts, you must make it clear why a particular issue is relevant to you as an individual. This is not the place for political soapboxing or rants about general issues, so talking about a political issue in general is not allowed, but talking about how it affects you is okay. E.g.:

Emotional Support Only, No Monetary or Financial Solicitations Allowed
Given the nature of this sub, it's only natural people are going to come and vent about their financial issues. Offering emotional support for such things is perfectly alright and, indeed, wanted. The trouble is when people ask or solicit for financial help, like posting GoFundMe links and the like. The mods don't have the tools to be able to verify every post, and scammers are highly incentivized to break any method we apply, so for the good of the sub, any financial or monetary request, solicitation, or link will not be allowed.
