They haven't yet put up an official list of what's changed but the public GitLab does have an ongoing list, and it seems plenty is already readying up for the release after this too. Some of the new features coming in this release include which I've cherry-picked from their GitLab include:

  • Zoom levels of the world map.
  • A tab in the launcher for handling different data folders.
  • Post processing.
  • Support for FBO Rendering.
  • Support for FFMPEG 5.
  • Windowed fullscreen support.
  • Exponential fog.
  • Sky blending.
  • Add support for controller gyroscope.
  • Shader-based object texture blending.
  • More realistic raindrop ripples.
  • Allow users to easily change font size and ttf resolution.
  • Unique object identifier.
  • And lots lots more!

As for what they've added, some of it includes:

  • Lots of visual improvements.
  • New types of Doors.
  • A respawn near backpack option.
  • Many locations expanded and overhauled.
  • Points of interest now show you their name and difficulty tier on screen
  • A better intro for new players

So I'm planning on purchasing a laptop. I'm from India and here laptops are generally priced 20-30% higher than the US price because of import tax. I like what I'm getting with the MSI Core i5 12th Gen - (16 GB/1 TB HDD/256 GB SSD/Windows 11 Home/8 GB Graphics/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060) Thin GF63 12VF-268IN. After exchange offers and bank discounts this will cost me around $842. There's another one MSI Core i5 12th Gen - (16 GB/1 TB HDD/256 GB SSD/Windows 11 Home/6 GB Graphics/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050) Thin GF63 12VE-267IN and this will cost me around $781. Which one should I go for considering my budget is close to $750 ? Should I save up and spend extra for the 4060 or is 4050 enough ? Any other opinions and options will also be respected. Thank you

Knowing what they called the RTX4060, imagine whats in store for the "4050".
