Allows the Auditor to make recommendations and actively weigh in during personnel investigations (instead of upon the completion of investigations).

Has or is close to everything LA has to offer. In or near the foothills. Relatively light traffic. The people are laid back and aren’t as pretentious as other parts of LA. Good amount of diversity (race, socioeconomic, etc.). City is taken care of (streets, buildings, etc.).

Why do you think Pasadena is the best?

Such a long wait and it’s already gone. I thought it was really good compared to the other bbq spots we have in the area. You couldn’t order combos on Postmates, which was a big downside, but not sure why it disappeared so quickly, yet Craft is thriving and Gus’ has always been mediocre. The city should give that spot to Rodney’s Ribs.

I really like Pie Life near south pas, but Prime Pizza is really similar and closer to me near Altadena. Obviously lots of more gourmet pizza spots like Union or Luggage Room, but for a classic pie I love these two spots.

I just had to fight and win against a Pasadena overnight parking ticket because I parked near the border and nobody knew where the border ended or began.

Not only did I receive a ticket, but I even lost the appeal after citing the attached map.

Finally, reached out to a councilmember via email who added some parking dept people and they confirmed I was outside Pasadena’s jurisdiction and cited the exact same map (the one linked here) that I had used as proof during the appeal.

The map is exact, so for example, if it looks like the border divides a street in half, it in fact does. The east side of a street might be Pasadena and west side is LA public works.

Hope this is helpful! Let me know if you need some direct emails to parking enforcement office staff.

They’re everywhere! In the trees. Blocking the streets. They own that neighborhood.

Some of you saw what was assumed to be another SpaceX launch a few days ago.

“Experts including Smithsonian astronomer Jonathan McDowell and the SETI Institute said the objects in the sky were the remains of the Chinese Shenzhou 15 orbital module, which launched into space in November 2022, carrying three astronauts who spent six months at the Tiangong space station. The module had been predicted to re-enter the Earth’s atmosphere on Tuesday morning.”

Has anybody here ever attended one of these shows at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. They just had America’s got talent and I’ve always wondered if it’s worth the line for a spectator and the process of getting in.

I think I like Huntington best, but Descano has to most natural feel.
