The PAN-OS 10.1.10-h2 software update is now available on the Palo Alto Networks Software Updates page. Check out the PAN-OS 10.1.10-h2 Release Notes for release details, including the new features and bug fixes that make the upgrade worthwhile.

The Preferred Release page hasn’t been updated yet to show 10.1.10-h2, and still shows 10.1.10-h1 as the preferred release in the 10.1 release branch.

The GlobalProtect app 6.1.2 software update is now available on the Palo Alto Networks Software Updates page. Check out the GlobalProtect App 6.1.2 Release Notes for release details, including the new features and bug fixes that make the upgrade worthwhile.

GlobalProtect 5.2 is nearing the End-of-Engineering date. Afterwards, only security fixes will be delivered in the GlobalProtect 5.2 release train until End-of-Life. For more details click here.

The Preferred Release page hasn't been updated yet to show 6.1.2, and still shows 6.1.1 as the preferred release in the 6.1 release branch.

A few reminders from yesterday's Applications and Threats Content Release Notes (Version 8732):

  • (7/14/23) We started adding URLs to the new “artificial-intelligence” category (added to the Advanced URL Filtering/PANDB category list in content version 8727). This new category is available on all supported PAN-OS releases and we recommend that, if you didn’t already, you ensure that the default action for this category is set to “Alert.” See the FAQ for more information.

  • (7/11/2023) We added a new category, “scanning-activity,” to the Advanced URL Filtering/PANDB category list in content version 8729. This new category is visible across all supported PAN-OS releases. [Action Required] we recommend that you update the default action for this category to “Block” before we start adding URLs on October 11, 2023. See the FAQ for more information.
