My grandparents wrote their memoirs a while back, but only had a limited number of physical copies printed. Would like to digitize it to ensure its never gone.

I want to play binary data IV but I only have a keyboard and I can’t find a program that lets me put real-time delay so I can play it properly. I really want to learn this piece so if anyone knows a program I can use please tell me.

For context, I was on a walk today and had a soda bottle with me. I finished my drink and put it in someone’s recycling bin that was right next to the road. Should I have carried the bottle home to throw away? Or was it okay to put it in their can?

There are so much horror movies now, but I haven't found another that makes me lose sleep. Or are horror movies just like romance movies nowadays? The cheesier it gets, the worse it'd be.

So what are your horror movie reccos?

If our bodies are at 98.6°F and room temperature is around 72°; when we touch something, at what point do we say it’s warm/hot? Would it be above room temperature, or above body temperature? I doubt my fingertips themselves are 98.6° but say I touch something that’s 100°F, is that just warm because it’s only 1.4° above body temp or is it hot because its 28° above room temperature?

There’s probably better ways to phrase this but I’m drunk so.. sorry

In theory, could I continuously transfer balances between existing credit cards to take advantage of the 0% APR offers until the cards are all paid down to a zero balance?

I’m desperately trying to pay off my debt. I have little to no extra money to put towards these cards, so please don’t suggest that.

I just want to know if this could possibly work.

i always wondered why instead of pulling a tooth they cant just kill it somehow than let it fall out naturally.

or why cant they some how soften the bone around a tooth so it comes out much easier than having to essentially break it loose to extract it

Just saw a photo of my now-deceased dad from when he was like 4 yrs old. In it, he was wearing these tiny shoes, neatly laced up. Seeing those shoes tore me up. Something about the shoes.

I'm just posting this here because I'm always freaked out by tornado sirens because I have PTSD and I've had to shelter my family and neighbors in my bedroom closet a couple times because of the recent intensity of the storms. (And because no one believes me when I say the storms are gonna get bad until they're all panicking.)

Does anyone know an easy way to get free local weather for Bloomington/Bedford/Mitchell Indiana because I also have family scattered around and they've been getting bad storms too.

I'm also super scared of/ironically fascinated by supercells which is why I usually watch a Youtuber named Ryan Hall who focuses on them, but he doesn't always stream live so I don't have that option right now.

We have Roku so I know there are a lot of apps on there that might work but I'm not even sure where to begin with that. Or if anyone knows live news/weather channels on YouTube that would be great, please.

I have an emergency bag incase we actually get hit by a tornado since we've come very close quite a few times now but we live in an apartment so I always worry either way, even we're bottom floor.

Just trying to keep my family and friends safe but I'm a broke 17 yr old lol. I'll hopefully get Hulu Live soon since it has local news.

Ty in advance for anything that might help.

I got my dog Max from my local county rescue. We named him due to him responding to commands when we said "Max'.

He seems to respond my readily if we speak to him in Spanish but I'm not fluent.

Would you please tell me some phrases a dog would normally hear from an elderly Hispanic woman? We want to praise him in a way that will be the most familiar.

Background story: I wear flip flops outside in the backyard, he saw me lift my foot up to scratch a mosquito bite and he took off in the opposite direction. Our boi knows la chancla. We've also seen him shy at men, :(. If my hubs can talk to him in words he's used to hearing from someone he trusts it'd be very helpful.

So about two years ago I started hearing people talk about Adrenochrome. I had gone 30 years never knowing about this and just recently it seems like everyone knows and talks about this. So yeah is it common knowledge? I don’t remember anyone ever talking about it before. Perhaps it’s the new workplace I’m at?

If you don’t open the windows and have a lot of people over or stay inside for a super long time, why doesn’t your apartment run out of oxygen?

I just had this random thought that when I was a kid, we didn’t get to choose what we wanted to watch or listen to. We were exposed to whatever was playing on the radio or HBO or MTV. That meant we naturally were exposed to different types of music or movies we wouldn’t normally search out.

Now that all content is searchable, how would anyone be exposed to older stuff? You would naturally only search for things that are new or your friends recommend.

Like how would a teenager today discover Alice In Chains, or Monty Python and the Holy Grail?

So to you young bucks out there, do you ever listen to music or watch movies from before 2000? If so, how do you find it?
