A bit surprised Yamaha didn't go after anyone in Moto2, however seems like the last few riders to come through after winning the championship haven't set the world on fire so I guess it makes sense.

The Grand Prix Commission has approved MotoGP’s Friday format tweak and has done so with immediate effect from the British Grand Prix in August

I don't know about ya'll, but I can't wait for Silverstone any longer - especially with the change in format to the weekend and recent drama with Honda.

What do you think about the idea of both Japanese manufacturers receiving concessions from MotoGP? Personally, I hope that it ends up happening if only to bring more competition to the field. I fear that a continued lack of success from HRC and Yamaha will inspire their corporations to go the way of Suzuki and leave the sport.

Interested in others thoughts, seems like it's a no brainer that Acosta takes Pol's seat at GAS GAS but Simon Crafar seems to think they'd look at punting Augusto Fernandez which seems like a bad move IMHO. Simon either doesn't want to kick a man when he's down or maybe he just expects them to do that since they kicked Remy out and Raul bounced at the first chance.
