I got sent this unit to review. It's pretty good if you want a neat way to store and charge at the same time. Nothing revolutionary, but gets the job done. Happy to answer any questions about it.

Just wondering if linking via cable is still support and working well? Considering using it.

A secret agent’s work is never done. After saving the world in I Expect You To Die and I Expect You To Die 2, the Agency once again needs you to investigate a dangerous new threat in I Expect You To Die 3: Cog in the Machine. More clever puzzles await you in the latest entry of the spy-fi series, along with new customizable disguises and challenges that’ll test even the most seasoned operatives.

I Expect You To Die 3 is available now for $24.99 USD on Meta Quest 2 + Pro.

I get it, this is preproduction stuff. But, wow. From the scene selection, to the fake excitement over the weapons and modes, to the in-game voiceover this has B production written all over it.

I know we've all been spoiled by PC graphics and AAA cinematics and production values, so maybe I'm expecting too much. I went back and watched the teaser from the spring. I know, I know, we're looking at handheld console-level graphics, but that teaser is leaning on a lot of jump cuts and cinematic license to try and mask what sounds like George Lucas level dialog and Sega era effects.

I really enjoyed (at least the beginning of) the original Asgard's Wrath and thought it'd be cool to have a stand alone version, but its going to have to be a lot better that...whatever that was. And a shit-ton better if it's coming out at a $60 price point.

I bought a PSVR2 this year and occasionally there are games available on both Quest and PSVR. I was wondering what makes you decide which version to get.

Currently I’m getting multiplayer games on Quest because I don’t want to pay for PSPlus. PSVR has better graphics and the adaptive triggers, which are really nice, but I also find the lense sweetspot quite small and the headset to be less comfortable. And there’s the cable of course. Games that don’t have guns and where the graphics don’t matter as much (BeatSaber for example) I much prefer on Quest.

How do you decide?

OK... OK... the entire programme wasn't dedicated to VR - but my final project was called "Exploring the visualisation of hierarchical cybersecurity data within the Metaverse".

I mapped a large amount of information into a Directed Acyclic Graph, made it interactive, then conducted experiments to see if people could understand the information - and whether VR made them feel sick.

So, I decided to get my official graduation photo taken while wearing the Meta Quest 2 headset. I wasn't quite brave enough to walk across the stage wearing it!

I made the mistake of updating from 53 to 54 back when it dropped, and since then... let's say that if an activity involves the wifi, I am better off not doing it. Updating apps? lol no. Using the store? The video previews take over half a minute to start playing, and almost immediately stop to buffer again. AirLink / Virtual Desktop? Terrible, TERRIBLE idea. It's not my connection or the network hardware as I tested it on a different network and nothing changed. I've contacted support a few minutes ago, I doubt it will help.

The headset's FCC filings confirm the Wi-Fi frequency bands the device uses. In addition to the standard 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, it reveals Quest 3 supports the 6GHz band introduced in Wi-Fi 6E.

Quoting from Discord:

**Dear Community, **

We have a very important message for you.

Unfortunately, the premiere will not take place on the scheduled date. During the final stage of the development, we have encountered a major issue regarding multiplayer mode.

In order to provide you with the best possible quality of the Game we decided to postpone the premiere of UBOAT: The Silent Wolf.

We assure you that we are working at the full speed and we will update you as soon as possible on the new release date.

We would like to announce that for every person who buys the game as preorder (which also applies to people who have already purchased the game) we are preparing** a SPECIAL CONTENT PACK!**

We would also like to remind you that preorders in Meta Quest Store are processed 24 hours before the premiere, so the money will not be deducted from your bank accounts earlier than 24 hours before the game’s release.

You can cancel your preorder in the user panel if you think it's right. Current preorders will also be fulfilled at a later date.

If you have any questions, concerns or want to share your feedback, please get in touch with us at the following email address - [email protected]. Also, you can ask questions here on Discord.

I really enjoy co-op games with friends. This looks pretty good, what does everyone think?

What does everyone think? I wish there was an easier way to browse horizon world's outside of vr. A web directory with reviews and feedback would be great. Or build it into the meta mobile app.
