Hi all,

As you may or may not know, .ml domains may be getting seized by the Mali government. As such, we may need to launch the community on another instance. Here's a few options I've considered:

• Lemmy.world - The "big" instance besides lemmy.ml. Although the Fediverse is supposed to be distributed.
• Midwest.social - I don't think many people would consider Louisville "South" unlike other parts of Kentucky.
• Launching mylem.alachian.app - I'll be running a server for another project here soon and I can throw this one up as well. Although, it'll be a trial by fire
• Some other instance

What do you all think?

Tonight I went to a book discussion sponsored by LFPL, had a really good time!

I initially heard about it at the St Matthews branch, but found a list of events for all libraries across the city (searchable by category too).
