Liftoff!

I didn't update liftoff for some time & now after updating to the latest version it has dark theme on cards/posts?

Can you make an option to bring previous post style back? (hope I wasn't the only one liking it a lot).

It would be nice to see at a glance that a post was updated at some point. Maybe add an asterisk or a small symbol next to the timestamp.

I just tried to delete my display name in the account settings and it didn't work. I deleted the name in the box and pressed the save button at the bottom. Then I returned to my profile and the display name was still there. Refreshing and reopening the app didn't change that. Returning to the account settings, the display name was back in the box. I tried several times with the same results. Changing the name does work, but removing it doesn't. I thought at first it might just not be possible in Lemmy, but I successfully removed it in Jerboa.

Since yesterday (I think), the 'comments' text is cropped. Is there a way to fix this? e.g. by swapping to showing just a number next to the comments icon, or by removing the share button from the bottom bar so there's more space?

Would be nice to have a hide function in the three dot menu. The hidden post could also be shown as a thin tab which would enable us to unhide the post if it was a misclick (like reddit reimplemented their hide feature again in the last days). Thanks!

If I go to [email protected] while I am logged in to my lemm.ee account and tap the share icon, it creates a link to [email protected] when it should be @lemmy.world.

Having the option to move images and links to the left side would be nice. Thanks!

Since the last update I can't upload any images anymore. In the post creation screen it just doesn't do anything and in the comment screen it complains about incorrect format, pointing at ""

I keep accidentally upvoting and de-upvoting things I didn't intend to.

I would love to be able to change the avatar size as well as you can change the pill or timestamp size right now. Would this be possible to add, please?

In the Reddit is fun app there is a really nice tablet mode that you could do that would pretty much have a half panel for scrolling through post another half that would have the post already open so you could scroll through post and have it be full size and two panels. Getting something similar would be really cool

For various reasons, one might want to take a break from a community.

The Feature to mute a community for a specified timeframe could compliment the already great feature to block a community.

I've tried this four times now, after I noticed it initially, for a total of five times

Steps to reproduce:

1. Load an instance that is down (I imagine using a bogus instance to force a failure would work too)
2. Try to load a different instance that you know is online
3. This, and any other instances, will not load until you restart the app

iPad with keyboard here. Currently holding down Command (⌘) to show available keyboard shortcuts reveals nothing. Hoping support is coming!

When scrolling down it get post from 1hr then 1day then after only 5 minutes or so of scrolling down its get to stuff from a very long time ago. Weeks, months.

I filter by hot.

I may have a setting wrong, or may not be a 'feature' of the app but something wider in lemmy. I'm not sure.

Asking for either help in changing settings or if it's the app, maybe a suggestion for a fix to the dev team.

LiftOff is still a great app, so keep up the good work!

I don't mind resizing but it would be great to address this for those who need larger fonts!

Not serious, just want to point out that a post has a negative comment value while having comments.

I would prefer there is a bar to type in.

Currently, my method is:

• go to search
• type in the community name
• click search
• then click community tab
• click the community you want.

The problem is it not navigate to correct community if the community happens to be on multiple instances.

For example, I want to navigate to [email protected]

But top results in community search navigate me to [email protected]

Is there a difference between "Refresh" and "Back to top" when sorting by New?

They both seem to do the same action, refreshing the feed and jumping to the top.

Am I missing something obvious?

I voted, refreshing page. Then my upvote is gone.

Look like either lifeoff or lemmy.world doesn't register my vote correctly.

Do anybody have this problem ?

How to reproduce:

1. Go to any post.
2. Upvote the post and few comments.
3. Refreshing
4. Then see all of your vote gone.

How does one... Log in? I can't comment, post, ban, etc. either. Nothing works.

In reddit apps, whenever you create a new post based on a URL, the post title gets suggested from the link title. Can we get this feature in Liftoff?
