The new firearm will look similar to a standard AR-15 but will in fact be a battery-powered railgun capable of firing 3 million rounds per minute. It will also feature a fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth capability, heat-seeking ammunition, and a chainsaw bayonet.

"We really wanted to re-think self-defense," said Musk. "This new firearm will be the go-to rifle for our SpaceX volunteers when they encounter hostile aliens. It's also a celebration of the Second Amendment. If any federal authorities try to confiscate it, the rifle will automatically connect to the internet and file a lawsuit for you!"

"It was never about gathering data to aide law enforcement. It is, and always has been, a concerted effort to pressure credit card companies to deny lawful purchases of firearms and put every single gun purchaser on a watchlist."

Fenberg added, “I’ve always said that I support an assault weapons ban. I don’t think in this day and age it makes sense that people can purchase weapons of war. It’s something (where) we have to make sure the policy is right. I think there’s still ongoing conversations about what the policy would be.”

Masquerading as a helpful rulemaking "to assist" gun owners and the firearms industry in complying with the law, in reality the proposed rule is designed with the obvious and specific intent to largely outlaw the use of stabilizing braces on firearms, threatening millions of current owners with imprisonment and putting a large segment of the gun industry out of business entirely.

"What I’m hearing from other banks is that they have been honoring this process and this system, filing Suspicious Activity Reports across a myriad of industries to stop a myriad of crimes -- or at least alert authorizes of them," said Brown. "And I have every confidence that banks are going to do the same thing here."

"The correct phrase when warning everyone about a non-binary mass shooter is 'THEY'S got a gun,'" said Berkeley's Chief of Police Katty McBroad, who is trans. "There is no place for misgendering in our society, which makes trans and non-binary people feel extremely unsafe, even while they're heavily armed and mowing down dozens of innocent people."

It is likely that Aldrich was on the FBI watch list since he was arrested for a bomb threat on his mother’s home one year ago.

For some reason, he was able to access firearms for his mass shooting a year later.

More than 200,000 federal bureaucrats now have been granted the authority to carry guns and make arrests – more than the 186,000 Americans serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. “One hundred three executive agencies outside of the Department of Defense spent $2.7 billion on guns, ammunition, and military-style equipment between fiscal years 2006 and 2019 (inflation adjusted),” notes the report. “Nearly $1 billion ($944.9 million) was spent between fiscal years 2015 and 2019 alone.”

Those under the age of 21 will receive an initial delay that could last about two weeks. This delay is supposedly to allow the FBI to contact local law enforcement and check with state databases to enhance the background check system's effectiveness. This is nothing but a way to make it more difficult for young adults to own firearms. It's a mandatory wait period that anti-gunners have now added to a background check system that is broken well beyond repair.

The "enhanced background check" is in fact a mandatory delay or wait period on the purchasing of a firearm for those under 21 years old. Mandatory waiting periods put Americans' constitutional rights on hold when they may be in the middle of a dangerous situation, whether that be a threat from someone they know, a dangerous period of rioting and looting, or any number of scenarios. Further, allowing local law enforcement tips and hearsay to result in the denial of a constitutional right would truly constitute an arbitrary and unconstitutional gun ban.

The "enhanced background checks" will include "checks with state databases and local law enforcement." Since Congress admits that such an enhancement is truly necessary for one category of adults, then will they soon find themselves answering why these delays and "enhancements" do not apply to all other law-abiding people? Further, allowing local law enforcement tips and hearsay to result in the denial of a constitutional right will truly constitute an arbitrary and unconstitutional gun ban.

It is not hard to understand why ‘reforms’ such as ending cash bail, defunding the police, refusing to prosecute entire categories of crimes, letting thousands of convicted felons out of prison early, significantly cutting the prison population, and other ‘progressive’ ideas have led to massive spikes in crime—particularly violent crime, including murder—in the communities where those on the Left have implemented them.

Frustratingly, at a time when crime is spiking across our country and sits atop voters' minds, anti-gunners appear more focused on ensuring their constituents have no means to effectively protect themselves. In Congress, Senators from some of the most pro-gun states in the country sold your rights down the river. Voters are demanding one thing and their representatives are doing the opposite.

While the courts are a viable option, voting out anti-gun politicians is a much swifter alternative.

Judge Goodwin, a President Clinton nominee, noted that "serial numbers were not broadly required for all firearms manufactured and imported in the United States until the passage of the Gun Control Act of 1968," and the ban on possessing a firearm with a removed serial number didn't come about until 1990.

Given that, he found the law barring the removal of serial numbers fails the test established by June's Supreme Court case, New York Rifle & Pistol Association v Bruen. Specifically, to justify a firearm regulation, the Supreme Court said "the government must demonstrate that the regulation is consistent with this Nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation."

Though the Bruen test is only a few months old, it's already animated several rulings against gun laws,

Data released by the nonprofit shows that 34.4% of active shootings were thwarted by armed citizens between 2014 and 2021. However, FBI data show only 4.4% of active shootings were thwarted by armed citizens during that time period.

All in, 360 active shooter incidents were identified by CPRC between 2014 and 2021, with 124 stopped by armed citizens. The FBI identified 252 active shooter incidents during the same time period, with only 11 thwarted by armed citizens.

Police don’t believe he acted alone and have now charged the new suspect in the case while refusing to release his identity. Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) has reported, however, that the man charged is Arfan Bhatti, a Norwegian Islamic extremist with a long record of violence.

Bhatti, convicted for firing shots at a synagogue in Oslo in 2006, also has a record of convictions for making threats, extortion and violence. He hailed the late terrorist Osama bin Laden, who was behind terrorist attacks on the US, and supports sharia law.

The California coastal community of San Luis Obispo has allocated $12,000 for a 'Guns for Groceries' drop-off event, in which Californians who drop off 'assault rifles' will receive a $200 grocery store gift card, while handguns, other rifles and shotguns will be worth $100 each.

Fortunately for gun owners who wish to remain anonymous, the Guns for Groceries event is no-questions asked, and drivers will remain anonymous when they drive up to drop off the guns.

Firearms turned in must be unloaded and packed in the trunks of vehicles upon arrival. Ammo will not be accepted, according to Captain Mickel - who has run similar programs in Petaluma, Sacramento, and Los Angeles County, and told the Epoch Times that there is no political agenda underlying the program.

The collected guns will be destroyed (totally).

Documents obtained by Daily Caller reporter Gabe Kaminsky indicate the FBI has secretly pressured an unknown number of Americans to sign away their constitutional right to bear arms without being convicted of any crime in a regular court of law, another constitutional right.

So no jewelry or cash or anything else of value was taken from Karen Bass’s house.

The burglar(s) knew exactly where Bass kept her firearms and only stole two guns.

Obviously, Bass knows the thief and the thief knows Bass.

This de facto standing army of bureaucratic, administrative, non-military, paper-pushing, non-traditional law enforcement agencies may look and act like the military, but they are not the military.

Rather, they are foot soldiers of the police state’s standing army, and they are growing in number at an alarming rate.

This standing army has been imposed on the American people in clear violation of the spirit—if not the letter of the law—of the Posse Comitatus Act, which restricts the government’s ability to use the U.S. military as a police force.

Historically, the establishment of a national police force accelerates a nation’s transformation into a police state, serving as the fundamental and final building block for every totalitarian regime that has ever wreaked havoc on humanity.

“Why are you asking for [this information] now, from the state of Missouri, from our sheriffs, when you didn’t ask for it in the past?”

“What steps would the FBI take to be sure the information remains private, if you’re able to obtain it from these sheriffs all across Missouri?”

Wray suggested he was just going to answer the questions another way, rather than in person.

Hawley suggested Wray’s refusal to answer was because he was “under oath.”

Hawley went on to explain that he sent Wray a letter alerting him beforehand that the topic of pursing information on Missouri concealed carriers would come up in the hearing.

He said, “I’m disappointed, frankly. I sent you this letter days ago. This has been on your radar screen. The attorney general of our state sent you a letter before that. You’ve known about this. This is of significant concern. It directly affects Missouri state law.”
