Solar Machine Guns (self.destiny)
submitted 8 months ago by johsny to c/destiny

Can anybody recommend where I can get a good Legendary Solar machine gun? Not from raids or dungeons please, I can’t do the higher level content (Maybe because I don’t have a nice machine gun, but probably because I don’t have friends or skillz) anyway, thanks bye.

I think a lot of us were hoping Sony would replace leadership in bungie and reverse all the terrible decisions Bungie has made.

A (mostly) comprehensive analysis of all of the different supers in Destiny 2 I'm happy to respond to any questions or comments here or on the discord linked on the sheet. Feel free to share it as well.

TL;DR:

  • New TFS Trailers from earlier this week
  • Some sick wallpapers
  • Power Level is changing in TFS:
    • Fireteam Leader is now also the Power Leader
      • All team members are brought to 5 below the Power Leader's level
      • Un-adjusted Power Level will still determine rewards (what level your drops drop at)
      • Power Leader will get a boost to commendations.
    • Power Limits are removed from Legacy Gear
      • Sunset guns are back on the menu although I think many of them are now outclassed.
      • Bungie realizes most of us deleted these a while ago and are planning to bring them back with updated perks and origin traits.
    • Power Bands
    • Power needed to reach the soft cap is now 40 vs 150.
    • Both campaign difficulties will get you to the soft cap.
    • Legendary campaign will get you +20 into the power grind.
    • Power Floor: 1900
    • Soft Cap: 1940
    • Powerful Cap: 1990
    • Hard Cap: 2000
    • Activity Power
      • Activity Power will be easier to understand when launching the activity
      • It will say if you're power is disabled or capped instead of showing a power number above the launch button.
      • Tooltip for the activity (where it shows what strike/rewards you get, etc.) will show the power level number and give you a combat difficulty rating out of 4 levels.
    • Artifact Power:
      • More seasonal challenges since episodes are longer
      • Artifact XP requirements will be adjusted to match more seasonal challenges (sounds like they're nerfing XP gains)
    • Account Level Power
      • Rewards will drop at the level for the highest character on your account.
    • Reward Power
      • Drops across all activities will now drop at +1 to your power when you're at the Powerful Cap. (Everything becomes a pinnacle drop when you're trying to get to the Hard Cap.
  • Pantheon launches next week
  • Hardware Supremacy mode in Crucible Labs next week. Weapons Only, no abilities including class abilities like dodge but jumps are still active.
  • Last Iron Banner next week before TFS.

TL;DR:

  • TFS Raid launches June 7th (3 days after the expansion launches)
  • Hawthorne is getting reward updates. Similar to other vendors.
    • Complete activities to level up her vendor track. Higher difficulty activities give more progress.
    • Bounties get a refresh. NF bounty doesn't required clan lvl 6. New bounties for seasonal content.
    • New clan level rewards. These actually look pretty good. See article for a table.
    • Clan XP should be easier to earn.
  • Fireteam finder will no longer be in Beta.
  • Into the Light Limited Time activites:
    • Pantheon (activity, seals, title, emblems)
    • Hall of Champions
      • Superblack shader and parade armor will be returning.
      • Attunement will be coming back but not right away.
  • Into the Light stuff staying:
    • Onslaught
    • PVP Maps (launch on May 7th)
    • Whisper and Zero Hour missions
    • Parade armor and Shaders

TL;DR:

  • Prismatic Recap
  • Into the Light is out.
  • Pantheon Overview (raid boss gauntlet):
    • Starts on April 30th.
    • "Way to relieve heroic moments with twists on how to approach them. Boss strategies might have to change or be thrown out completely."
    • Increases in scale and difficulty each week.
    • Starts w/ 4 bosses and will be up to 8 by May 21
    • Each time a boss is added the modifiers will rotate and the power cap will change.
    • Power cap starts at 5 below and goes up to 20 below.
    • Rewards get better as the difficulty goes up.
    • Adept Raid weapons, deepsight raid weapons, and exotic weapons.
    • 4 new emblems tied to triumphs.
  • TFS HUD Updates:
    • New Buff areas on screen to prevent clogging up the current 4 slots.
    • Right side of screen buffs in the vidoc were temporary and not in the final build.
    • Critical Info Channel: Top Mid
      • Activity based modifiers like wipe timers and role buff timers (ex. DSC Operator)
    • Weapon Channel: Above Super Meter
      • Weapon perks and buffs (ex. Rampage). Only two buffs will show here
    • Prioritization:

      • Short to medium term gameplay choices (ex. Amplified)
      • Passive buffs for learning or confirming intuition (ex. ability boosting buffs)

      • Braytech Osprey RL
      • Loaded Question
    • Iron Banner:
      • Jorums Claw
      • Bite of the Fox
      • Pressurized Precision
      • Swarm of the Raven

With the Wisper mission back, does anyone know if it still has the infinite spawn under the green room? It would be nice to level weapons

Prismatic Deep Dive (www.bungie.net)
submitted 9 months ago* (last edited 9 months ago) by jontree255 to c/destiny

TL;DR:

  • Prismatic will feature a "selection" of abilities from all 5 subclasses. Not everything from every subclass will be available.
  • All movement abilities will be available (phoenix dive, thruster, etc.)
  • Focus is on underused abilities that combo well with those in other subclasses.
  • First mission of TFS will give you a complete Prismatic subclass.
  • They have charts in the article that show what each class is getting. It's too much for a TL;DR
    • Abilities with (starting) in this chart are the ones you get right away.
    • It's still quite a good list of options for each class. It's not like they took two from each and said done.
    • Most of the "meta" stuff is not in prismatic. Well and Banner of war are not available for example.
  • Additional abilities will be unlocked in campaign, post-campaign, and through collectibles in the world.
  • Abilities that required a specific damage type that have moved into Prismatic now can activate off any damage instead of just Void for example.
  • Fill up the dark and light meters to activate Transcendence and get a special grenade.
    • Hunter: Solar/Stasis grenade that sends out a slowing cyclone then a scorching one. Attaches to surfaces like a tripmine.
    • Titan: Strand/Arc grenade that suspends targets then jolts them over time.
    • Warlock: Void/Stasis grenade that sucks enemies in and slows them before exploding.
  • 21 new Fragments that are not damage specific for Prismatic. Some of them are listed in the article. Too much to cover in a TL;DR
